Intermediate Pottery Classes at Springs Pottery Studio are designed with care. Small class sizes (12 students max) ensure personal attention from experienced instructors. All materials are included — clay, glazes, kiln firing, and tools. Our Colorado Springs studio features both gas and electric kilns, a curated glaze library, dedicated wheel throwing stations, and spacious handbuilding tables.

You should be comfortable centering clay and throwing basic cylinders. If you've completed a beginner class or have equivalent experience, you're ready.
Larger forms, lids, handles, spouts, altered forms, trimming technique, and surface decoration. You'll also start developing your own aesthetic.
